Apply For Service

To apply for commercial service, visit us at 1500 Broadway, Monday – Friday between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm. Due to the differing requirements for each commercial account, signing up online is not an option.

A deposit will be required at the time of application. The amount of deposit is determined by the size and type of service requested. The deposit is normally up to two times the estimated monthly power bill. For deposits that are greater than $5,000 a letter of credit or surety bond will be required. A power contract may be required for three phase power loads.

A service charge of $35.00 will be on the first month’s bill.

Paducah Power System has a net metering application and policy for customers choosing to connect to the PPS distribution system while generating their own power through renewable sources such as sun and wind.  Please click on the net metering policy below for full details. Paducah Power System offers many ways to use lighting to provide safety and security at night. In addition to street lights, we offer private outdoor lighting services for business parking lots and grounds. A Paducah Power System representative will visit your property to design a lighting plan that is tailored to your needs.
